In association with Ensemble, CII-YI chapter of XLRI is organizing the National B-Plan Competition with a difference where the students from B-Schools and other educational institutes are required to find the issues currently faced by a communities nearby or an NGO working in that community and are expected to figure out the solutions to the problems. Students are also advised to implement that strategy in the community.
The participants are expected to have strong business skills as well as a sense for making sustainable solutions for the local communities.
ROUND 1: ONLINE QUIZ
A 30 minutes online general quiz to be conducted on 30th October @ 9:30PM
Results for the quiz will be announced on 31st October.
Based on the results of round 1, top 10 teams will be shortlisted for round 2 where they are expected to visit their local communities and figure out the daily challenges faced by them. They need to come up with an innovative solutions for the problems and the implementation methodologies for the same.
They can also contact NGOs to devise strategic changes in their implementations.
Additional points will be given to the teams who will actually implement the suggested strategy.
Teams will be judged on the basis of following parameters:
Novelty of Idea
Feasibility and sustainability
Return on Investment
Value to the society
Teams are required to submit a power point presentation (.pptx or ppt version with a limit of 10 slides including title and Table of Contents)

The deadline for submitting the entries is 11:59 PM, 8th November ‘15.
Results will be declared on 9th November ‘15.
Top three teams will be invited to campus to present it to the panel followed by Q & A during Ensemble on 15th November, 2015

Each team must have 2-4 participants
A student cannot be part of more than one team
Multiple teams from the same college are allowed
All the participants must belong to the same institute
The decisions of the organizers of the contest will be final & binding on all the participants

All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgments will be reserved with the Ensemble Core Team, XLRI Jamshedpur
The format & structure of events is subject to change before the actual beginning of the event (You can’t complain!! Business environment will throw you in the same uncertainty)
Entries for all the rounds will be judged by eminent faculty from XLRI (Just like impressing the VC’s and investors!!)
