The tale of Chanakya aptly represents the role of a king-maker and accentuates its importance in the development, functioning and growth of a kingdom. The organizations of today are the various empires and the Chanakya’s are the Consultants. Right from helping companies formulate strategies to implementing them to gauge future trends and provide a feedback into what changes need to be made, the Consultants are no short of the king-maker tag.
To test and identify the best king-makers in today’ corporate context, IIM Indore’s Annual Festival Ahvan presents “Chanakya” – The Flagship Consulting Event.
4 Rigorous rounds, 1000+ Participating teams formed with the best brains from the top 30 B Schools, a highly elite judge panel makes Chanakya one of the most coveted and sought after events in the B School Circuit.
Round 1 Teams are required to submit case analysis for 2 or 3 cases out of a bouquet of 5 cases. The 5 cases that are provide span different functions, including, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Strategy, HR. For evaluation, the best 2 case submission would be considered and the Top 30 teams make it to the next round.
Round 2 The Second case is given by our Sponsor and associate – Cognizant Business Consulting. The case is common and mandatory for all the shortlisted teams.
Round 3 An innovative round awaits the participating teams at this step which would test the true consulting acumen of the aspirers and details of this round would be disclosed only at a later stage The final submissions are given to the Cognizant which would then shortlist the best 6 out of them.
Round 4 The top 6 teams are invited to visit the IIM Indore campus where they present their case analysis to an extremely elite judge panel comprising of Senior Consultants, Industry veterans and widely acclaimed academicians.
9th October: Online Quiz at 10 pm, winners get direct entry to Cognizant Case Round. Chanakya is a team event and each team could have 2-3 members. The team members could be from PGP1 or PGP2 doing their post-graduation in management and need to be from the same institute.
